Born out of the Make A Difference Fund in 2003, the Power to Make A Difference (PMAD) programme represents Republic Bank’s long standing commitment to meaningful collaboration with advocacy groups, communities, and partners—working together to build successful, sustainable societies.

Our Impact

Since its inception, PMAD has forged strong alliances to improve quality of life across the region. Through strategic partnerships, the programme has:
• Enhanced support for persons with disabilities
• Strengthened healthcare initiatives
• Created opportunities for youth through sport, education, literacy, culture, and the arts
• Elevated community investment through a wide reaching staff volunteerism programme

PMAD Today: Phase Five (2023–2027)

Now in its fifth phase, PMAD is aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with a focus on youth empowerment, entrepreneurship, and long term social and environmental impact.

With an investment of TTD$125 million, Republic Bank has recommitted to:
• Sustainability initiatives, including SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure), and SDG 13 (Climate Action)
• Youth development through education, literacy, sport, arts, and culture
• Healthcare initiatives, elder care, and support for persons with disabilities
• Poverty alleviation and empowerment of socially marginalised communities
• Business development, environmental preservation, and entrepreneurial excellence
