Port-of-Spain, Trinidad, July 8, 2025: Republic Bank is inviting non-governmental organisations (NGOs), community-based organisations (CBOs) and faith-based organisations (FBOs) across Trinidad and Tobago to apply for social investment funding for the period October 2025 to September 2026 through its Power to Make a Difference (PMAD) corporate social responsibility programme.

First launched in 2003, the PMAD programme is a cornerstone of Republic Bank’s commitment to social investment and serves as its primary mechanism to support community-based initiatives in education, health, sports, entrepreneurship, the environment, and the arts. Implemented in five-year terms or phases, PMAD is currently in its fifth phase of operationalisation, driven by the theme ‘Sustainability! Doing Less Harm and More Good.’

As it continues to champion a more equitable, resilient, and compassionate society, the Bank is actively seeking to collaborate with organisations whose work aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and its four Power to Make a Difference pillars. These pillars are: • The Power to Learn – supporting youth development through education and culture • The Power to Succeed – enabling business development, sport, and environmental preservation • The Power to Help – combating poverty and social marginalisation • The Power to Care – promoting health care, care for the elderly, and the differently abled.

“At Republic Bank, we believe that success is not just measured by numbers, but by the positive impact we make together,” said Preston George, General Manager, Group Marketing and Communications, Republic Bank. “Our PMAD partnerships are true testaments to the power of collaboration – where support meets dedication, passion, and a shared vision for a better future.”

The Bank is encouraging local organisations with a vested interest in improving communities and society to bring forward innovative ideas that advocate for inclusivity, sustainability, and empowerment. Organisations are invited to submit their proposals and supporting documents through the link below: https://republictt.com/pmad/application-support. Applications are open until July 31, 2025.
