  • Commercial Overdrafts
    This is extended to business clients e.g. sole traders, partnerships and limited liability companies to assist with their working capital and their daily operational expenditure. It is a chequing account that is allowed to go into debit up to an approved limit. Interest is calculated on the daily debit balance, allowing customers to pay according to how much they use.
  • Ordinary Loans
    This is a loan approved for a sum of money on a case by case basis for an agreed time (short term). The interest charged is linked to the bank's base rate, calculated daily and payable monthly and in full by maturity.
  • Amortized Loans
    It is used for a wide variety of purposes. It is calculated for a fixed monthly payment of principal and interest, with repayment in full at the end of the fixed period. This allows the customer to pay interest on the reducing balance.
  • Banker’s Acceptance
    To finance stocks and receivables. Repayment term varies from a minimum of 30 days to a maximum of 180 days.
  • Project Financing
    This is offered as a method of financing capital projects where the income stream generated from the project is used to repay the borrowing.
  • US$ Loans
    This is also available to customers on approval, supported by the relevant documents and invoices to support US$ revenues.
  • Commercial Long Term Mortgages
    This is available for the acquisition of land and building at interest rates that are variable for a term of 5 to 15 years.
  • Residential Mortgages
    This is available for the acquisition of land and building at interest rates that are variable for a term of 5 to 15 years.
  • Letter of Credits
    This is a bank to bank guarantee issued to local and foreign suppliers for the supply of goods and services or for performance of contractual obligations. The bank guarantees payment by endorsing the company’s ‘bill of lading.’
